if you have a girl you'll get the significance of this post...sarah can FINALLY fix her own hair. she worked and worked to get these 'ponytails' just right...she wanted them to look kind of messy and tucked in so this is actually the "look" she was going for - it's been a looooooooong road for us.

i did cringe yesterday when she said she wanted to learn how to braid.......by the way, this is exactly what rob would look like if he had pigtails. seriously.

yeah, um, i have a girl. you know, one who CAN fix her own hair, but on more occasions than not, chooses not to. what's up with that? ugh. anyway, that's what i was thinking... rob with pigtails. maybe you could "photoshop" something. you know, for comparison purposes only. purely scientific.

I agree with Bronie... I would love to see that! ha ha

Rebekah has been going down that loooong road for a while, too. But she always wanted to practice on ME, so she could see what she was doing. It's a good thing I'm not tender-headed!

And about the braid thing, Bekah had been practicing that on me, too, when one day I found a fun craft at the store that teaches you how to braid. It's just a little styrofoam ball with yarn tied around it, and you can braid it all to look like a bunch of little braided legs. Sounds kinda corny, I know, but it has helped her a great deal... and it has saved me from a lot of unnecessary pain! I think I was losing hair! ha ha :o)

Congratulate Sarah on a job well done! :o)

I do not know what you are talking about since Ani refuses to wear any kind of hair accessory, or to even tuck it behind her ears. Probably when she's 14 she'll be into hair fashion and then she'll be too old to have MOM help!! :) She's a tomboy just like mom was...still is :)
